About me
I’ve always been curious about why some things feel effortless to use while others make you stop and think. That curiosity shapes how I approach design.
Whether I’m shaping a new product or improving an existing one, I enjoy making sense of complexity and designing experiences that feel intuitive and purposeful.

I enjoy being part of the UX community because conversations with other designers introduce me to new perspectives and ways of thinking about design. Meetups give me a chance to step outside my own work, connect with others, and see how they approach problems differently. I’ve attended IxDF, Friends of Figma, and Pixel Parlor meetups in Sri Lanka, and each one has given me something new to take back into my own work.
I’m naturally curious and enjoy discovering new things, both within design and beyond it. I like exploring new ideas, learning from different perspectives, and finding inspiration in everyday experiences. There’s always something new to learn, and I enjoy keeping that curiosity alive through the things I explore, the people I meet, and the experiences I come across.
I’m usually more of a behind-the-scenes person, but give me something to organise and I’m all in. I enjoy bringing people together, keeping things moving, and figuring out the details that turn an idea into something real.
At 99x, that looks like...
Through Culture Hub, the internal community at 99x, I’ve been involved in organising company events in very different ways. For Karaoke Night, I took responsibility for the decorations, working with interns and an external vendor to bring the setup together. For Clash of Xians, I’ve been the main point of communication between the organising committee and the house captains, making sure information and requirements move clearly between both sides.
Before that, there was AIESEC.
At AIESEC in SLIIT, I served on the Executive Board and led a team of 30 members, working with stakeholders and international partners to move projects forward. Across different roles, I also worked on improving processes and developing leadership learning content for young people. Those experiences taught me a lot about taking ownership, working with different people, and leading things through from idea to execution.
